Plug gap with met on STS

What gap are you running with the STS with TR6's and Meth? 30 or 35? the reason i ask is becouse i just put a set in gapped at 30. And im about to run meth on it and it will be tunned to?? Hmm time for more boost lol. And also what ratio meth to water are you guys running? I was thinking 70/30

I have had a few cars that didnt run that will with the plugs gapped at .034. We went down to .030 and they did great. If you are just running at 8psi, I would do 50/50

thanks billy you are always more than helpfull. by the way i put the new valve springs in last week hopefully i make more power up top now. I went with the SDPC springs

What alchy/water ration would you use with 11 PSI on an intercooled single turbo set up?

With the intercooler, I would still use the 50/50. It needs to be checked on a dyno with a wideband. If you dont have enough of a fuel system, I would maybe richen it up some.

I'm running straight methanol which is what Julio thought to be the best method but reading different views some feel water cools better so a 50/50 mix is best. Who knows. I just keep it simple and run 100% meth so I don't have to worry about how may teaspoons of water/meth to add to my 1/2 empty tank for fear of throwing off the tune. I'm just simple. Plus if I get into a big accident I want the methanol tank to burst and catch on fire so the truck burns to the ground!
