Default wonderin about a cam

i have a mostly stock ls1 and am getting a head and cam package for it. i eventually am gonna supercharge it. i was wondering what would be a get head and cam to ride around on before and after i charge it because i really don't want to put one in now and then have to change it out for a different setup after i charge it. i'm planning on a 8psi procharger with twin intercoolers. any advice would be appreciated

That is exactly what i did.... I got the FM7 cam which made great power N/A and then i added the Procharger. Don't waste your money on heads now. Just get the cam and u will be happy with it for a while. Good luck.

Default Cam

As mentioned, check out the Ligenfelter GT2-3 cam we sell. This is a great blower cam and will not bleed off any boost. This is the same cam Ligenfelter uses in the blistering twin turbo setups!

This cam is good for both blower and turbo setup's?

If your gonna do heads, would 6.0L heads be a better choice by lowering the compression?

Yes that cam works great for blower or turbo setups. If you want to run more boost, lowering the compression is definitely a good idea!

I was planning on putting the supercharger up there and then when my motor blew, just get a low compression engine built and put the supercharger on that one. because I know I can't do but so much with a stock bottom end. Lol. Just a matter of time. This supercharger is a 8-lb with d-1sc and twin intercoolers. It's rated at 150+ hp so I'll be happy with a 100 hp increase. I'm not tryin to do anything crazy... I'm aiming for a 600-650 hp when I'm finished (If there's such a thing as being finished)
