Default Intercooler on a 94 Lt1 camaro

I currently have a vortech aftercooler but was looking for someone that would be a little easier to have for driving around town.

How hard is it to put a front mount on a lt1 camaro?

I've been trying to find some good pics of this particular install myself. Not much luck. I guess it really cant be too much different than the LS1's. I was thinking I may have to re-clock the s/c to face the same way as the Prochargers do. 7 o'clock position instead of 12 o'clock. I'm gonna do a fmic on my formula with my t trim and mount everything the way my brother(frcefed98) did on his formula. Just gotta figure out the routing of the piping. If you find any other info lemme know.

Laters,

As far as mounting it, it is just the same as an LS1 car. This is on an Lt1 car.
Not sure about the pipe routing with a s/c.

I've also got a t trim, there is a local guy here who has a 02 TA with a nice front mount for sale. I just didn't want to go through too much hassle or spend too much for the FMIC, I already have a aftercooler but think the intercooler would be better for street uses. My car made 640 rwhp w/o the aftercooler already on 10 PSI and I think the intercooler would help a good deal for street driving.

SSprayn,
640 to the wheels with no intercooler or aftercooler and 10psi is pretty impressive. What is you motor combo?

Mother I will sell the aftercooler. Send me a pm with what you think is a reasonable offer and I'll check into it and if its good we'll work something out.

N20blkz I have a lt4 block with a 396 stroker, AFR heads with about 50 extra hrs of port work, a vortech t trim 10 PSI with a custom made 10 rib belt system. Car was tuned by Mike of More performance and it actaully ended up making 649.16 rwhp.

Yeah I still have it. At first I was going to keep it but I won't be able to mess with the car for quite a while now so i may go ahead and sell it. Let me know if you are interested and what price you were thinking

It has hardly ever been used and is in great condition. The only thing that will have a few scratches is the water tank because the one i have sits up front on the nose of the car. I was going to build a custom tank to hold water and ice but I won't be able to do that for quite a while. I'll see if I can't send you some pics later when I get home from work.
