I think it would be easier to go to the strip than figure out that spreadsheet.

Actually once you use it twice it is totally easy to work with.

You just have to figure out a max Gforce for your vehicle at the strip. I just went to smokemup.com and did a 60' to Gforce conversion and rounded it off to say 1.2 which should be near a 1.6 60' or so. The frontal area is the tough one for me since I couldn't find figures for a fullsize GM truck. Instead I used a round figure of 25 since the fullsize is bigger than the s10 Blazer.

Well you have to take into account that your vehicle doesnt sit on the ground. So you have to measure the frontal area of the body. Then the frontal area of the tires exposed out from under the body. Air is going to pass underneath; if you were to just take total height*total width, you'd end up with a lot more frontal area. And dont forget to add in the area of your mirrors.

Okay. Using the 3450 lb raceweight and 1.5 for maximum G, which gives you a 60 foot of 1.439 along with a 0.34 cd and 21.6 ft^2 frontal area, you get a pass between 9.294 and 9.45 seconds at about 146.6 mph. I used 690 for average horsepower; I guessed that you get max torque around 5000 rpm and averaged that power with your maximum.

The 3375 weight will get you down to about 9.249 to 9.405 at 147.45.
