Comes with everything except the turbo. The system uses a bypass valve since these are MAF cars.

Yes, system is fully coated. Typically the larger units to make that power are from around 1385-1540.

I would feel better about the turbo(s) being close to the heat source. I guess I am just old school about that. I will look into those web pages to see what I can find there. I just have never had any luck finding anything for a turbo kit on an LS1 by using Google search.

Thanks guys.
who is this? i live in Andrews and know most people in Odessa and Midland that have f-bodys. i can point you in the direction of a guy that does custom turbo systems that is only 4-5 hours away from us. his quality is second-to-none. also, are you on anythingcars.com? if so, what's your SN?

So what would be a good catback system for it? I mean will a gmmg be a good one? Also got pics of the turbo mating to catback?
Btw Purevl can you give me more details of why you are going with a front mount? Or do you just want to try something new? I may just got right ahead with a front mount instead of my sts idea..I was thinking of a f1 though...humm

Well I really want a front mount but risking getting pulled over by a cop is not worth it for me since I live in Cali...I like sts but it seems tacky to a point of having one subframe and using the return pipe as a subframe too... Also I'm worry it may just run nice but sounds awful.. But if you were to compare the sts with a f1 how would you rate it? Why do you feel turbo is so much funner btw?

My sts feels twice as fast as my d1 did. Also I took off a wolfe 4130 tubular subframe and the sts sub frame is actually bigger and beefier. As for sound, my car sounds insane with the cam/heads/turbo. Sounds like a jet taking off. Look you got your doubts then just go SC. Either way your FI and thats cool.

As said before, you should check out the phamspeed kit. It doesnt come with a BOV or intercooler, but he does also make intercoolers(cheap price)and sells the BOV's. I have talked to him since i am leaning in that direction also. just cant make up my mind. But he is also in the process of making a twin turbo kit also that he said will cost somewhere around 4000-4500 bucks +/-300 bucks. His work looks really good and i have done some of the math on the costs and to have a totally drive ready 8psi kit it was somewhere in the ballpark of $6k. Which is cheaper than most places. Give him a call and he will be happy to talk to you and help you out, i am sure of it. And as stated before wait and see what HPTurbo comes out with, supposed to be making a stage 1 kit for us right now.

Turbo cars have great street manners. You can drive around town like nothing then put your foot down and hear the turbo spool up. Go turbo and you'll never look back
