In reference to the V6, if it will run low 13's or better, it would be very welcome.

Hey any chance you guys come a little further north? We got axed from another publication for one of our local races (with a couple hundred car turnout) and werent too happy bout it, but there are some fast street stuff up here, not too mention the fastest NA LT1 anywhere might be something worth writing about

GrannySS- Both HPP and GMHTP occasionally do Shootouts at Englishtown in NJ, but I don't currently know of any in works. If I hear of any being planned later in the year, I will be sure to post.

TTT, The forms are up at www.dapa.org and should be loaded to the Primedia site (www.highperformancepontiac.com) by tomorrow afternoon. The entry deadline is June 13.
So far I have only received one late-model application. Since Bryan W. took the time to apply, it didn't take but a second to convince the editor that his car was feature material. One less Shootout entry, one more feature. We will do his feature when we roll into the area in July. Needless to say, we need late-model Pontiac entries. This is the best way to get your car in a magazine and as I have said before, if you show up and we decide it's a feature car, you get to race all day and get a feature. And yes, we even feed you as Year One is sponsoring a catered lunch.

I'll see about getting something filled out. I guess this would require me painting everything one color, huh? Red bumper, black car, black gelcoat hood and no interior.

One year in Texas we had a 69 Firebird that was buzz bombed Krylon Barbeque Black. Another year a 70 Lemans showed up in four different colors.
Cosmetics aren't that important for the Shootout. If the car runs strong, that's more important.
