Default Officially FI, TTi Street kit installed and running

Well I just got it all finished! I guess I am official now.

Bought the kit in Jauary (used to be Super Dave's Z kit). Nice kit, just had the turbo rebuilt by Turbo Tech. I went ahead and updated the cross over pipe to the new TTi pipe.

So this is the Combination:

98 Camaro B4C (Cop Car)
Stock 2003 6.0L Lq4 (9.4:1 cr)
ARP rod bolts
Patriot Performance Valve spring kit
Cam Motion Custom grind cam 226/222 115lsa .570 lift
Trick Flow 7.4" pushrods
LS6 Intake
42 lbs Racetronix Injectors
Walbro 340 fuel pump
4L60-e everything you can possibly do, has been done
Yank ST3500 converter

The TTi kit is the T-76:
Upgraded cross over
HKS 46mm Wastegate (7.8# spring)
Running a factory 2002 Passenger manifold
Oil return line goes into the side of the oil pan below the level of the Turbo
All clamps are T-bolt

Other stuff:
Custom made Intercooler spray loop (nitrous/CO2)

I have a question, did anybody else have any clearance issues between the steering joint and the down pipe? I Had to space my drivers side motor mount up about 3/16". Attached is a picture of what I am talking about.

Also, what is "safe" for stock rods and pistons as far as boost and power go? I am thinking that 8# is about it? What do you guys think, it is 9.4:1 cr so that helps....

Looking good...

Are you using any of the 2 bar stuff for tuning?

sounds like it will be a nice set up.

yes you need to shim the driver side motor mount, to fit the 3" DP, i did and it worked well, no rubbing problems.

you might be able to get 10psi out of it, it all depends on when you tune it and where your knock is at, and ofcoase octane used.

I run 10 psi daily on the same compression. forged pistons though. As long as you dont have any detonation I think you will be fine. All in the tune.

Congrats Ryan!! Everything is lookin' good!!

I guess every car is a little different, because I never had to use any spacers on my motor mounts.

Knock down some good numbers with that thing. I would also look into an alky injection system. I know I was able to add 3 psi with the standard SMC kit. I didn't try any more than that due to lack of injector, but just that 3 psi made a big difference.

Sent you a pm, too.

Later,
Dave
