Where do I find some Dished pistons that will lower my compression to 9:1
or even 9.5:1 on the LT1?
Or what are my other options to lowering my compression?
I have a Vortech V1 s trim and want to run 6-7psi.
Im guessing Im somewhere around 11:1
SPECS:
58cc heads on ROSS flat top pistons, 383, heads have been milled .008
Im using cometic head gaskets .057 thickness.
How do I figure my exact compression?
Please Help.
Thanks

Flat tops in a 383 with 58CC heads, and a .057 gasket are anywhere from about 11.2:1-11.6:1, depending on how far in the hole the pistons are. What length of rod are you using? JE makes some off the shelf 383 blower pistons that will knock you down to around 8.8:1 with a 6" rod or 8.5:1 with a 5.7" rod.
