Default Wheel spin and boost ?

How much boost will a car fail to produce if your spining/blazing the tires on a centrifugal blower compared to a dead hook on a set of slicks?

I would assume that it would produce the same amout of boost wether its hooking or spinning. With my turbo when im doing my burn out it will go all the way to 24#'s

You'd make the same amount of boost that corresponds with your engine RPM's that you normally would on a centrifugal blower. Nothing changes, it is direct drive from the engine to the blower and it does not rely as much on load.

However on a turbo setup I believe you would lose maybe a pound or two if the tires spin violently and there is not as much load on the motor.

They do rely quite a bit on load but spinning the tires is still putting a load on the motor in any situation and shouldn't loose much boost at all if any. JMO though I am not a the know it all guy.

When i took my car to the 1/4mile with the procharger something weird happened the first run... My car is pullied for 8psi. Anyways i got the car to hook up with 1.7 60ft on the first run and when i shifted 2nd gear the clutch was gone, but the weird thing is that when i checked my boost gauge memory i saw 10psi in 1st gear under that load. So i was thinking that even SC'd cars are affected by load, but not as much as turbo cars.
