Quick question about STS
Quick question about STS Did a few searches, just like to clarify something.
Lets say I'm putting down 350-360rwhp from full bolt ons, and add a STS kit at 5psi, I should expect about 100rwhp gain, to equal 450rwhp right? Oh and does a FMIC ADD horsepower, or just allow the turbo and intake to run at cooler tempertures, thus allowing the PSI to be raised up?

Most people run at low 400's with the kit just bolted on regardless of their mod level. You'll pick up lots of midrange torque though.
And a FMIC will add a small amount of power at well as allow you to turn the boost up some.

I remember seeing the STS basic kit selling for $3500 instead of the usual $3995, but I forget which place it was, anyone know by any chance?

The thing I have noticed is that when you switch to FI you can't always simply add XXX HP to your current level. There are too many changes being made once you add the kit that your HP would not be nearly the same as it was pre FI if you were to simply unhook the turbo/blower and dyno it again.
That being said you will probably be in the 420-450rwhp if your tuning is right. It's the area under the curve that is impressive over a similar power N/A setup.
