I understand the concept of twins. I believe that biturbo means something like a T3/T4 set up.
My buddy with an Audi keeps saying that his "biturbo" is sequential, but everything I've read leads me to believe that Audi's biturbo is just a twin kit...

Which model Audi is it??
Last sequential setup I saw was the FD RX7 and Supra TT. And contrary to popular belief the supra did not use one small turbo and then a larger second. Everyone always says that....lol

BTW, if its a V designed motor you can't run a sequential setup with one turbo running of one bank. It would have to be an inline setup or a very complicated arrangement in which the turbos are effectively seriesed.

It's that special S4 model... I forget the name but it has the fancy little badge and a v6 -- makes about 400hp according to him.
Hehe, I was going to bring up the Supra TT with the little and big turbo LOL. I coulda sworn the salesman told me that!![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
So to clarify my thinking... sequential turbo means one compressor feeds the next, right? Both have seperate exhaust side feeds?

Essentially yes, the sequential setup is just air regulated to the turbines. On the Supra the first turbo is getting all the exhaust gases till around 4200rpms, then the secondary is opened an the exhaust gases then hit the 2nd turbo as well. BTW, both Supra turbos are CT-12's. They would be great for a small bike or 4 wheeler.... ![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)

The S4 is what I posted above. Just a standard V6 with 2 small twin turbos for quick spool. The turbos run under normal exhaust gas operation, no tricky sequential systems used.

Bad *** lil cars!
My buddy has one and tried to chip it but within a week he was at the dealer. Something about the turbos and the chip stayed out after that. I believe he has been through a couple clutches and a tranny once. LOL

S4 is my daily driver too.
Stock is 250hp. Turbos are tiny. When I did the downpipes, I could see the exhaust turbine wheel is about the size of a quarter

My buddy is chipped and has the big exhaust kit. He keeps talking about the K04 upgrades but is on a pretty short leash.
Isn't there a "sport" verison of the S4? His looks different in the back than the ones above -- it has a fancy shmancy badge with red blue and white on it I think.
