Default Dyno #'s-STS 8psi

Here's the dyno graph. Safe to say I was pretty happy with the results. See the sig, not much work for pretty solid results. Let me know what you guys think!

Well, I have some concerns with the rear end. I just got a 2 step that I want to get in before going to the track. But, that also means the rear end has to go. I just don't feel like towing the car home. Besides, the turbo is right next to the rear if it blows!

By the way, the difference in the #'s was because there was some tuning going on, as well as turning the fun little boost dial up!

standard 60-1. Completely stock motor. Considering the work that's done, I think the numbers are pretty impressive. Injectors, fuel pump, intercooler, base STS kit. Once I get the rear end swapped out, I may do some motor work, but I want to get the most out of the stock motor first.

Looks like you have valve float in the high rpm area.

Great #'s though

if it were me I would richen that thing up. I would be afraid of leaning out on the street/track to dangerous levels and kissing a piston goodbye.

remember the difference between the dynojet and the street is at least a 1/2 point A/F wise.

I agree with what ^^^ said... That is on the lean side... I know lean helps spool up, but try to richen up in the upper RPM's. Also why do u have less TQ than a N/A LS1 around 3K rpm? When do u see the full 8psi? Looks around 3500rpm.

Looks like peak torque comes in at ~4300, my bet is 8 psi by then. Nice A/F to make dyno numbers...hope he's not going right off the rollers on to the street with that tune though.

Slowhawk beat me to it...IT definately looks like its screaming for some valve springs. On top of that, its floating where it historically would make peak power.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll definitely keep that stuff in mind. I haven't driven the car too much yet since the tuning. But, I'll keep an eye on the A/F for sure. We were seeing full boost by about 3600 rpm. As far as lower tq than a N/A car around 3K, I have no idea about that, wish I did. It's possible the car could have used a little more timing down low, but we didn't want to get carried away.

And the shopping list is growing...rear end, now headers & valve springs!!

Anybody notice that the graph on STD and not SAE? I thought the real #s on on the SAE scale? Great #s though! Who did the tuning? What did they use (edit or hpt)? The a/f looks good (meaning a straight line) but you should def move it down to like 11.5 - 12.0

Full boost is always measured at peak torque.

The turbo could be choking out at the upper RPMs too. The 60-1 is great for 5-6 PSI but at 7-8 PSI the GT67 upgrade will keep the curves up till redline. We could swap out your 81 exhaust housing for a 96?

Awesome numbers though for a stock motor and 60-1!
