Default New best today...

Had a blast out at the track today. No tens But a new best.

Last best was 11.18@124.96
Today was a 11.10@124.72

Didn't get a read on the DA. Left the cell phone at home so we couldn't call the weather service after the pass

Have to thank my buddy Josh, he stepped up to drive the car(his first time in a 11 sec ride) He weighs about 60lbs less than me And the mid track wiggle doesn't freak him like me. Track prep was non existant 30ft out, 10's could have been there if it stuck a lil more.

New things are on the horizion for me though....

On another note, congrats PNYKILR(neal) he ran a new best today with his 398 LT1 solid roller, 13:1-1 compression N/A Beast. It was his first time out with this combo, and boy does it fly.....had me scared too he went 11.33@122 N/A
Get some new tires on that thing and I'll be chasing you down fo sho.

No joke Kyle my brother....10's are damn elusive lil suckers...jackasses at the track raised the price to race to 12 bucks instead of 10 and 7 to watch instead of 5 and they still can't prep the track. Get this, they only had one scoreboard and one side of the tree working today. They wanted to flag us off the line like a bunch of 50's racers So everyone was making passes in the lane that had the working lights and timing equipment, made for a long day.

Decisions, decisions. I'll let you know when I make one

Thanks Mark, when are you going to be ready? I'm not up to anything.....good I'm just glad I got actually watch my car from the sidelines for a few passes today. Nothing like watching all your time and effort haul *** down the track like that. I had no idea my car left, sounded or accelerated like that at all. Videos don't do any car justice now that I saw my car run in person.

Congrats on the new best! Ten's are yours before you switch to that exhaust driven supercharger.

Let me know what time you were at the track, and what airport you are closer to, and I can figure out the DA for you.

Fandango, the pass was made at 1:39pm. Our track is a stones throw away from Albuquerque International Airport/sunport.
Thanks for the DA checkup

Mello, who knows I stopped going to the dyno along time ago. Car weighs ~3750 with me in it. Best trap this season is 125mph. Been tuning it on the street/highway.

Looks like the airport is at ~5300'

Temp was 10* celsius
Dew Point of -6* celsius
Altimeter was 30.00"hg

DA should be: 5913'

DA looks too low to me. I'll find out weather conditions for that time of day. I've never seen it that low......but I could be wrong....nah...it wasn't that low
Thanks KP imagine what a kit like this would do on your new car

Kyle....i'm there just look for us, I want to run you and your new turbo thingy.

Hey Jer

Scott said the DA was about 6000ft as well. checked it across to different weather stations.

wow, a full 9mph faster, I guess we can dream eh?

Roswell is the closest thing to sea level around here. DA late in the fall hovers around 3000ft and the track prep is excellent from what I am told.

That or San Antonio in December
