You can do it two different ways.... you can order a kit from ATI.... (not the Procharger guys ATI)
http://www.atiperformanceproducts.co...s/pr/30402.htm
LS1 Crank Pin Drill Fixture Kit $121.93
Extra 3/16" Pin 918993 $2.00
That kit you drill thru both the balancer and the crank and put a dowl in the hole to hold them in place.
The way i did mine was when i had my forged motor built i had AP Engineering cut a keyway in the crank its self and the balancer and the key slides into place anf the balancer is put on and the crank bolt goes on and no worrys.........

procharger gives the kit with a C5 kit but not an F-body. The kit from ATI (not the blower ATI) is for a balancer with a regular keyway cut in it. The procharger and magnuson key kit is for a stock balancer and drills from the front and doesnt require the balancer to be removed. I actually have 2 of them but I lent them both out and never got them back, I think procharger sells them for like 85.00 or something.
