Default Couple FI ?

Hey guys whats going on i had some questions, first of all im not gonna be doing this right away as i need to pay off some debt first, but i am looking at getting one of Phamspeed single turbo set ups, however here is my question. Would it be wise using only min boost on a stock block with 105K miles plus, or should i use that money on rebuilding that first?

Also im not sure what like min boost on their kit is, say like 7 or 8 pounds, but that should be pretty good for a daily driver car also right? Then with a turbo i do not have regualy headers right? I use the turbo headers? But i will still be able to still keep my current cat back or would i have to go with something different? Also my last question what about my rearend? IM still on the stock rearend right now, however im not a full out drag car, and i rarely launch the car hard, im more of a highway roll racer, so i dont launch the car insanely.

Thanks in advance for all your help guys.

1. If it was me I would rebuild first but that doesn't mean you can't do it. At least change the oil pump and stuff like that.

2. I think 5 psi is the lowest but 7-8 psi would put you over 500hp so yeah thats a good daily driver but if you run that much make sure you get a intercooler.

3. The Phamspped kit comes with nice turbo headers.

4. You can keep your cat-back you just have to fab up the down pipe to the cat-back or you could just take to a muffler shop and they can do it. I would put a cut out in there some where.

5. As for the rear you should be fine as long as you don't get to much traction. Highway roll I would think you wouldn't run into a problem.

I'd say just keep clean erl in her and you're good to go. Upgrade as you feel nesacary, but make sure you have the fuel and a tune for 7~8 #s. That will keep her healthy until it's time to build a serious motor, and you're ready for more giggle factor. Eventually change out that rear too, if you decide to start launching the car. Oh, and be smart about driving too, don't go ape $#!% all the time and the bottom end will last. Darkblue TA has probably close to 50k miles with a D1SC, no problems, over 100k I think on the car now. PM him, he's back in the states finally, but still busy.

I forgot about the fuel up grades. sb427f-car is right don't try to run that boost without the right fuel upgrades.
