Default STS Twin Turbo Kit?

I like the idea of the rear mount turbo on the STS kits but what about a twin turbo kit like this? Would it work? The reason I ask is because the turbo is mounted on the left side on the current kit. I dont' know very much about the STS kits but it would be cool if this could be done. Please give me your thoughts on this.

I don't think there is a real big advantage going twin turbos, its kind of a bling factor thing. So doing rear mount twins kind of makes it pointless.

Sure you can get smaller twins to spool a little faster and harder, but loose top end, or even spool normally and have great top end, but I just don't see the point of rear mount twins unless you just like spending money.

Oh okay. I was always under the impression that twins made more power, hence my question in this thread. If I can get just as much out of a big single turbo then I'm all for it. I don't care about bling so much, I just want my passengers to **** themselves when they feel the raw power of a turbo'd LS1.

Then a correctly sized single turbo should do the job for you.

Yeah JAMMER is makeing a twin kit now. He's prolly close to finished and from the pics it looks very clean. Should be a fun setup. But I think its more for the bling fator to.

It might be benificial if you were to do a bi-turbo/serial turbo type thing. Where turbo 1 was small and spooled super quick and then as exhaust back pressure built up turbo 2 would spool and take over. The transition from 1 to 2 would be a little tricky but doable. That way you get the best of both worlds, almost instantaneous boost and high rpm boost.

That's an idea, sequential rear mounts. That might cure the slow spool and/or running out of steam problem with correct turbo sizing. What turbo could I plug into my H2D to pick up the low end?
