Default switching to lq9 heads

I searched around but can't find what I am looking for. I have an ultima with a single turbo 98 ls1 in it. It's about ready to hit the dyno and I am thinking about switching to 6.0L heads to drop compression, but have a few questions

1. Will they be a direct bolt on to my 98 corvette motor?

2. My current heads + headers have O shaped exhaust ports, will this be a problem with the D shaped ports or will I just need a new header gasket?

3. My value covers have perimeter bolts, so I will need new valve covers for the lq9 heads, where can I get them and how much are they?

4. With stock internals what will the lq9 heads drop compression to?

Sorry for all the questions, don't want to send the money if it's just going to cause more headaches.

Default

1. They are a direct bolton but will require 6.0 gaskets.
2. headers should not be a problem
3. You will need center bolt vc's, don't know how much you could find some for
4. the heads usually drop compression about .5, so you would probably be around 9.6 to 1

Badass set-up btw. Over all the 6.0 heads are a very good upgrade for FI cars and very worth it IMO.

I've dopne the swap and it was very simple. Dave pretty much nailed the details. Althought I thought it brought compression down to 9.5:1.
