Default Finished the alt. bracket

Brian finished up the alt. bracket while I replaced the stock fuel pump. The bracket is very solid and will not move. I think it turned out really well. Here are some pictures.

Here is a picture of the bracket mounted:

getting it ready for paint:

and a few pictures from the fuel pump install:
Decided to cut through the top instead of dropping the tank. This took alot of time, but I think it could have been worse

and of course the hole:

and the old pump:

The car is actually coming together SLOWLY but surely...

Sean, remind me to knock the crap out of you the next time I see you

I don't think Brian is going to sell the bracket. He just made it for me because I'm special

Vents -- Yes, I am going turbo. Turbonetics T76... will have more pictures very soon!

cool glad to see your project is coming along

any chance of you takeing a pic standing back showing the exact placement of where you cut the whole for the gas tank access?

i have to do this next week so i can drop in my twin pumps, would just make life easier if i had a pic to look at of where to start to cut.....

it would be much appreciated!

thanks spangler.

not bad, but why did you use the AC tensioner instead of the stock tensioner??
id be worried about throwingbelts, but it might work.

here is a pick of my alt bracket.

That IS NOT an A/C tensioner, its a stock tensioner with an idler pulley swapped on.

The bracket was pretty easy to build, just a little time consuming making it "pretty"
