Default LS1 block Vs LS2 block for Forced Induction

Hey gents,
Does anyone have experience yet with the LS2 block in a forced induction build? I am getting ready to start a project and do not have either LS1 or LS2 block yet. I am wondering If I should pay what looks to be a $700-800 premium over what a used core LS1 shortblock is going for and head right for the 4" Siamesed bore LS2. How do the ALuminum LS1's hold up to forced induction vs there Iron block counterparts? Is ring seal and bore stability a problem?

i dont think borestability has ever been a problem, but i would like the fact that the ls2 has a 4" bore and you can use hellfire rings on them.

The LS2 appears to be a stronger block. But the LS1 has shown to handle power very well. Really depends on what cubes you want and HP goal.

4.020

The way the sleves are cast into the block is a problem past .020 bore.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's more expensive to press them in?

Why can't you use Hellfire's in an LS1?

Why does the LS2 "appear" to be stronger?
