turbo project for the trailblazer I-6
and the turbo is a garret t04B with 1.15A/R O-trim produces about 450hp
and an external wastegate wich is tial 46mm with a 6psi spring and for the fuel a Vortech FMU with a ratio of 12:1
with an APEXi V-AFC/S-AFC Fuel Controllers probalby i will choose the V-AFC
with a spearco intercooler 29.5*8*3 spec
the piping will be stainless steel and cusotmized and so is the exhaust manifold
any ideas or corrections for this setup and tell me what do you think
yeah and one thing i will keep the oem pistons untill i upgrade the tranny
I'll wear her down eventually
i dont know how the turbo would work with the 4.2L
but if it was me id be looking at a 54mm-60mm with a .83 or .96 AR.
since the engine has a 4+ inch stroke i wouldnt be reving it to high, but make it a torque monster.
the manafold would be somewhat easy to build similar to the supras with their singles, and have the downpipe exit in a similar fasion

Make sure you don't skimp on the fuel systme or tunning aspect of this project or you'll regret it
