Default 2004 Z06 head gaskets?

a friend of mine was recommended these over the 6.0L gaskets by someone. it's a boosted application and i was wondering what the deal (if anything) was with these??

its a 383 with a D-1 running 14-16 psi. the dudes probably full of ****, but i figured i would ask you guys to make sure!

EDIT-----
2004 Z06 gaskets were recommended over truck gaskets...not 6.0L gaskets!!

dont know what the hell i was thinking??

LS7 uses a 4.125" bore, so I can't see how that would be advantageous to run on your 3.905" bore motor

same gasket, different bore.

If your friend is not using 6.0L heads, then the 5.7L gasket is the correct one to use. That is assuming he's got a stock bore.

yeah, its a 3.903 or whatever...

so, as long as he is running a 5.7 head, he can run ANY 5.7 gasket...LS1 or LS6? they are all the same?

the original post should read "a friend of mine was recommended these over the truck gaskets by someone.", not 6.0L! dont know what the hell i was thinking??
