Default how much to expect to pay?

for a supercharger? different prices and names if you know...
and also, how much would the installation cost?

Prices for the kits generally range in the $5-6K range. Install and tuning is generally another $1,500 - $2,000.

Thought about selling my Procharger D1SC 6-rib with about 2,000miles on it...Thinking about doing a forged 348 and changing to a turbo...Could probably sell my fuel pump, 42lbs injectors and Long tubes if someone is interested..Any offers...just seeing where i'm at as far as funds

It's not just how much the kit is but also how much everything you'll need to go with it to. It add's up real fast. Matter of fact I don't think it stops adding up.

Im not sure about the Vortech kit in price... never really looked much....$5800 or so...
Now with a ATI kit..... I know i paid $4250 for the base kit w/ a D1-SC upgrade and the polished plenum. Then i added the SDCE spring tensioned 8 rib setup $700 or so.
I know you can buy the whole kit from SDCE with there tensioner from the getgo for alot cheaper.... but it wasnt around when i first bought my kit. No you also have to deal with fuel also. So a set of 42# injectors should be able to be bought fo around $300 and a Walbro 340 intank pump for around $130 or a 255 inline pump for around the same. Dont pay some one $$$ to put it on that $$ that could be spent to pay for the tuning. I was quoted $800 for the install alone and then another $575 for tuning.
It can be done with hand tools.... the hardest part is taking out the crank bolt. Installing the fuel pump and injectors isnt hard either. Then stay out of the RPM's and drive your car to your tuner to tune it using a wideband on the dyno. I stress the wide band on the dyno part very much so.
