Default Few D1SC progress pics

In two weeks everything is off and now its time to start bolting parts on. I bought Jeremy's (forcefed98) old D1SC/OBX FMIC/SDCE 8 rib setup to save a little time having to fab the pipes and intercooler mount since I have enough stuff to do to get rolling before it gets hot out.

Pulled the a/c , heater box (mostly for working room), air bags, rear end, trans etc and am going to work from the fron the back. Should be running in 3 weeks if all the parts show up on time. Car is getting a 9" moser with aluminum center, spool, light axles (3.70), TCI TH400 with a brake, Yank PT4300 converter. Motor had wiseco forged pistons (9.5:1), stock rods with ARP bolts, ET performance CNC heads and a 01 Z06 cam. Looking to get around 525-550rwhp with pump gas through the 9"/TH400 and still keep it drivable to the local track and a few of the bigger car shows here.

Going to pu a 6 point CM wofe bar/5 point harness so the interior will stay pretty stock looking except for the shifter and gauges.

Least I wont be bored for a few weeks

just a racetronix in tank and 57lb injectors, should be plenty for what I'm doing. If I keep the car i'll probably go with a turbo next year.

If its that hot I dont drive it, just more room to work under the hood. I have 3 other cars so if I need to pimp on a 100 degree day I'll leave this one at home

I have installed probably a dozen 98 racetronix in tank pumps and never had a problem. As far as I can see those two cars are plastic tank cars and they just came out with those.

Look at it this way, people don't normally tell the stories of how they put something in and it worked great. But, You always hear the bad ones. Out of all the posts on this board, there may be 5-10 bad reports on the racetronix stuff. In my book Racetronix has a great product line.

BTW, Looks Good KP!

racetronix makes some of the best fueling components out there. Certinaly much nicer than the rest of the "drop in" kits. I have no fear of installing one into my car.

I WANT IT BACK!!!!!!!! Its like seeing my girl with another man Lookin good, Kevin man you weren't messing around....I can't believe its on the car already. Guess the pics of how to route the pipes aren't needed Did I mark the pipes good enough or was it pretty straight foward? Did the big *** air filter fit with no problems...kinda worried about that since I wasn't able to test fit it here.

Lookin great man, boy did that hit me in the ol heart...chokes me up...serious.

Oh yeah, no complaints on my Racetronix plug and play...its going strong and if it goes out, i'll get another.
J

EDIT I forgot, but you probably already noticed, I extended my MAF wires a long time ago for my Powerdyne kit....hence the location of the MAF being too far for the stock length harness....sorry about that one kev...IAT should reach though..

It gets hot here too but I dont drive the car that much really, 2000 miles a year maybe and thats mostly to the track and back so I can wait for cool T-top summer evenings. Besides with a spool and ET streets/skinnys I'd rather drive my truck when its real hot out.

J, its pretty simple to figure out, I may change the way the LH IC ipipe goes and re-clock the blower. My car is low and that one pipe would take a beating. You can always have it back if you miss it that muck and I'll take that turbo to try

Yea Kurt I drove it for 200 miles and put it in the air, stock cars get boring pretty quick
