MAP Sensor identification
MAP Sensor identification Is there a way to identify a 1bar, 2bar, and 3 bar MAP?
I think I have a 2 bar MAP, but it is way off according to my CALMAP program. The input voltage is 4.68V.
I am wondering if I have the right MAP sensor installed.

Thanks, that is a help. Does anyone know what the current rate the IAT sensor uses? I will need that to convert the amount of resistance to volts.

im almost certain it is a 5v constant supply and the computer reads what is left of that on the way back after the resistor.

i think the way it works is there is another resistor in the computer with a steady value you will have to find. once you do that and you know the total voltage drop is 5 across the two then you can find the constant current across those two particular values and then use that current on that resistance to find the v drop across the first resistor

it would be easier to just measure it with a voltmeter acoss the iat sensor
