...considering this is the forum I read/post the most to and you are the guys I know the most, figured I'd share. It's been stated that I'm an accounant, which means I'm working saturdays right now with tax season. I get to the office this morning and while I'm about 5 steps away from the door, I hear the rumble of a good old American v-8, vintage. You know, the kind with solid roller lifters, a mildly agressive cam, that lopes JUST right, enough to say, "I've got something" but not "The Professor" agressive. Of course I had to turn around and see what it was. I could see the tail end of the car @ the stop through the cars in our lot and thought, "hum, maybe it's a nice shelby kit car", because of the decklid spoiler flair. Man I couldn't have been more farther from the center of the equator, even if I was standing on the south pole ITSELF. It rounded the corner from the four way stop and here I see a new GT. NO WAIT HOLY **** THAT'S AN ORIGINAL!!!!

:drop: Yep, an original Blue on white GT-40. Right down the 8 webers visible through the rear window. Guy looked over at me as I ran to the curb to look at it and was probably grinning to himself. This is the first time I've EVER seen an original GT-40, and to smell that thing running just rich enough @ low revs was absolute euphoria! My day can't possibly be bad now. Just wish I had had a camera phone to take a pic for yall. Though since my hands were full, I'd doubt I'd be able to snap a pic anyways. And oh yeah, it was defintely an original, right down to the Delaware GT 40 license plate and the left brake light that was burnt out.

But, just had to share that and I don't want to hear.

On a side note, I'm meeting Darkblue TA later today to look @ a '99 TA. Wish me luck! (No not buying his, different car).
