Do a search...theres a crap load of info on the STS kit. I would use an IC for 8psi for saftey reasons. You'll also need some fuel accessories (pump, injectors, etc) Not quite sure which ones...but some of the sponsors to the right sell IC kits. How much are you willing to spend? Phamspeed makes a budget kit for a lot cheaper now. If you dont have a limit, look into the TTi, PTK, and Phamspeed kits and see which one you like the most.

The STS Methanol kit will cover you intake temps and fuel for only about $500. Get the dual stage boost controller so you can drive around town at 5 psi and switch to 8 Psi when ever you want. You go from 400 rwhp at 5 psi to close to 500 rwhp at 8 PSI with Meth. With clean injectors and a fuel filter you can get away with 5 PSI on the stock fuel system. If you want to run more boost a set of 45# injectors will provide some safety.

Look at this thread. https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/297659-ken-s-sts-cartek-gto-running-10-68-122mph.html That's all that has to be said about the STS kit. THEY WORK.

Also, here's an example of the pains of doing a standard front mount turbo kit:https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...4&page=6&pp=20 two weeks and he's not even done yet, poor guy.

The STS kit bolts on in 3-6 hours!

According the John, you should be able to bolt up the budget kit just as fast as an STS kit. Both kits should be pretty easy to install considering you dont have to touch the stock exhaust manifolds. The most difficult part in any install would be the oil lines IMO.

BTW, are you done with your install hellraiser? How much longer until you get it tuned?

WS6Guy, you're out of MA? You're never going to pass emissions/inspection with a front mount turbo kit. You'll pass with the STS kit because it is a cat back system.

That's cause I can't stop adding to it . I need to set a limit for myself. But everyday I see something else I want for the setup. I think I might have to go to meetings for people that put to much money into thier car.

Yea... seems like it'd lag awfully bad, or somebody could just about walk away with your turbo. don't see how it works at all...

I wonder how efficient it is to run the turbo way back there?

I wonder how long we have to

Oh yeah:
STS/Cartek GTO running 10.68@129.81MPH
I guess it's not very efficient.
