Default Few progress pics, D1SC/FMIC

Pretty much done with the blower, getting the IC pipes coated and when the blower pulleys arrive that will be done. Just have to figure out what fans I am using, put the headers, trans (TH400 w/brake), shifter and guages in and it should be driving. Havent even had the car a month and it was pretty much original when I got it except the motor was rebuilt Trying to leave the interior looking stock as I can for now, took a lot of weight out but the blower/9"/roll bar/SFCs will pretty much be a wash.

Just looking to do a streetable mid-10 second car, not something that will be driven a lot but I want to be able to drive it to the local tracks. The rear and trans may seem like overkill but I tend to make like 300+ passes in the summer and I hate breaking stuff

One of my favorite cars on this site. The black T/A is just menacing. I love the look that it has. I checked your cardomain site and had a question....on the black camaro who did the gmpp intake? I love the single plane conversion.

You black T/A is a very sweet ride and I hope to see it on the road soon. I love this car...

The car has some eibach springs on it, not sure which. I love the way it looks but I will have to raise it up some since it takes a while just to get the car jacked up and its really a painto get it on the trailer. I took those pics before I took the car apart and I'll have to see how it sits when its all done.

Ryan K here did the GMPP intake, I bought the black camaro from him and the intake was done already.

Yea, nothing special on the trans, just a manual valve body TCI TH400, may not even go with a brake - still deciding. I'll probably put some light parts in down the road. Weather is getting nice and I'm trying to get this done so I have to get something in here soon for a trans

Well Johnnie, it looks wicked in person - I'm going to try to keep it low.

Very nice. Do you have any pics of how you mounted the FMIC? The car looks great. With that much drivetrain beef, I'm surprised your not gunning for low 10s/high 9s. I'm sure it is only a matter of time.

Spring is coming Steve, got to get it done.

Mike, forcefed98 did the intercooler mounting, its mounted in the bumper support. Hard to get a good pic when its all mounted on the car. If you search there are a lot of pics floating around of the OBX mounting. S_J_H has some pics in his sig.

When I say mid 10s thats around here, if I make it to one of the lower elevation tracks or hit a good weather day I'm sure it will run low 10s. Maybe next year I'll lighten it up and crank the boost up and try for 9s, when you start running consistant 9s doing a 10 point cage and the required safety stuff turns into a PITA - this is just a fun car

Looks good. What kind of a blower intake setup did you go with?

Stock hat with a giant filter for now, I moved the radiator pretty far forward so I'll come up with something a little better. I can cut a couple inches from the bottom of the core support - just havent found the right elbow/filter yet.

how are ya attaching the inlet hat to the blower? Are you using a coupler or just straight hat to blower combo. Thanx for the info
