Dropped Valve on 6.0 Radix
I dropped a valve in my truck today. Motors locked up tight .
So heres the question. What should I rebuild the motor to? I drive this truck 50,000 miles a year so it has to be reliable and I want to keep the Radix. Thanks for any input

Reuse your block and crank (assuming the cylinder wasn't damaged beyond repair) and throw in a set of eagle rods and some JE,Diamond,Mahle, or Wiseco pistons and slap her back together and you will have a bullet proof bottom end for what you need. Shouldn't cost but maybe $1500 between parts and machining if you do it all yourself, just lots of labor. Good luck!

Eagle Rods, Wiseco pistons
And get a set of head studs while you're at it, they are about $240. Your total should come to $1600-$1800 if you're doing all the labor yourself, including a head gasket.
Good luck with it
Oh and I guess I forgot you will need some better valve springs and to fix whatever is wrong with your head.

as far as a 383 it's up to you if you want to spend the money. It would cost you another 800 just for the crank and then the machining required. Your stock crank will hold the power.
