You're the bastard that bought that kit! J/K I wanted that kit sooo bad but i just couldn't sell my supercharger in time. So i settled for a stock CAS kit that will be modified to be better than yours neener neener neener(i already have slightly bigger turbos than what you have). I bet you are going to love that kit once it's on. Good luck with it!

But you have 2.5" downpipes ..no? Be sure to upgrade the waste gate system since your turbo are bigger... even my old ones would creep due to the inability to waste gas fast enough.

NICE turbo 'kit'! Where is the DP going? Under the passenger header?

I will drive it to get inspected once I get her fired up. I hope the EZ tag still works!! Yes, the DP will be going under the passenger header, should have that finished by tonight.

Not a car setup, but a kit that I built myself for my 04 Silverado.

I have 2.5" downpipes now but i am going to a fabber(RTPAZ.com) in may with a bare block, some ls1 heads, a bare tranny casing, the CAS TT kit, and my car. He is going to fab the intercooler setup, mod my downpipes to 3", attach the wastegates to the manifolds, notch the frame/fenderwells, fab up the IC piping, and weld some bungs in the oil pan for the return system. My turbos aren't much bigger than what you had. My turbos are 61 mm To4E with a .60 A/R the turbine side is a P trim stg V .63 A/R. John said yours were 56mm on the compressor side as to help spool a little bit and sacrifice by not being able to peak at 1250 HP. The real motor should be here in May sometime but i still have to send my tranny out to G-force for some serious upgrades as well as plan a stout fuel system.

Man if your going to all that trouble, why not just do a better kit? Get away from the log manifolds.

Hell I'm debating selling this kit, to get something with more bling and bigger turbo's.

Not that the CAS isn't a good kit, but your gonna have to notch the fenderwells, and have them basically stuck in there where it's gonna be hell to change the plugs, seems like a bunch of greif, when, with what you'll have setup, just have a better kit welded up.

Just my .02

Good luck with it

I agree that there are better kits(single turbo) but i already completely changed my mind once so i need to stick with this one and at least find out if it will support the power i want and give me the performance i am hoping for. As far as changing the plugs, i am just going to get Noyzee to do all of my tune ups j/k I probably should have left the kit stock and most likely would have been more than satisfied with the results but i've gone too far to turn back now. We'll see if the work is worth it.

The cas kit pumps.... forget about whats "better". Whats best is any installed turbo system ove one not installed. BTW, onlt the passenger fender well needs a small notch cut to accompany the TO4E... there 3/4 of an inch or more on the drivers side. Five minutes and your done...seriously. Your right Dis... mine were 56 on the compressor side and 76 on turbine side.It absolutely kills me not to see these kits installed! They are so much fun. I agree, space and plug changes suck, but thats life.

That's why i am going to go through with the completion of the kit. I am paying a lot for this setup, overall, so being on a tight budget is not even an option. I might as well do everything right and hopefully i only have to do it once.
