Default butt dyno and ls2 intake

I put on a ls2 intake with the nick/mark (i forget which) williams throttle body.
Took awhile to get my c5 97-98 fuel rails to fit properly. I didnt use the spacers i got from katech...just bent/massaged the mounting tabs on the rails some. O-rings seem to fit very well...especially if you bottom out the injectors into the intake. I dont believe they could possibly leak like some have wondered. Just got back from my first test drive. Off idle seems a little crisper....midrange seems a little soggier...wot seems a little stronger. I'll have to log maf...etc to make sure the tuning is right but so far so good. I dont feel like it was a step backwards at all. Track mph will tell the story fo sho!!! My car usually spins good up to 70-73mph. Today with it a little warmer outside, it was leaving light posi marks at 80mph (about 15-20') so I would think it picked up some power. If I lost some power in the midrange, I can see where this would slow down a N/A car. Anyway...just wanted to post some feedback.

Yeah, hope it works out for ya in the FI setup, because I have seen about 10 ls2 intakes installed on H/C NA motors, all have lost anywhere from 2-4mph at the track alone. EEEEEK, anyways best of luck to ya.. and damn I think its been forever since Ive even talked to you.. Jerry right?

I want to find out if this is a good option, as I was thinking about runnign one. Did your fuel rails work out well for you? I hae the ls1apeed rails and was wondering if they would work, I think they would, but never know.

Can you snap some pics and post em up please?
thanks

Thats me dude, different car now though lol. Im sorry I have been in Afghanistan and Iraq over the past 2 years with the Army. Just came back from Iraq and unfortunately never heard about your accident

But yeah I saw you posting, and wanted to say hi. Im back in Peachtree City for a few weeks, recovering from a nice little shoulder surgery I had not too long ago.

On a turbo note, I may have to talk to you about some stuff. I am planning a t76 single with air/air, and Im sure you could give me some great advice. Nice talkin to ya man!

are you going to dyno? I bet you picked up about 30 hp up top but lost some in the midrange.
