Custom/Different TT Idea
-Since I'm not planning on using my back seat and I have to alter the tunnel to fit a 4L80E, do you think cutting the rear seats out and mounting the turbos there would eleviate the issues of the remote mount system (this is more of an mid mount).
-It moves the weight of the turbos to the middle of the car, and doesn't add very much extra weight in piping (how much does a GT67 weigh?).
-The intercooler might even be able to fit between the radiator and the engine, so there would be a direct shot into the intake.
-I would be able to buy some hooker long tube headers and fabricate the rest quite easily.
-The oil lines wouldn't have to be much longer than conventional mounting
-Can anyone think of any other possible issues/flaws this design might have?
Thanks for any input...
If you want to run twins, I guarantee you can get a pair of 76mm turbos mounted in the engine bay w/ an A/A intercooler in the nose.
If you're scared of costs and fabrication, an aluminum World motor is not what you want either.
