I think the tubular manifold kit's take up alot of time compared to the budget kit. Thats prolly why John dropped it for now. Budget kit is best bang for the buck.

Seems to be the smart thing to do. Take care of the commitments you currently have and then get ready for bigger and better things. I'll be keeping tabs on you guys.

Glad you are sticking around though John. You provide an excellent product for the money. Good luck James with what you pursue.

Im not sure its as much as the tublar headers take too much time to make, as id bet their business really took off once they introduced the budget kit. it alot more affordable, they went from talking about closing their doors, to having too much work to do.

just my hypothesis though

That's what I am saying. The budget kit is going to be the best seller. So the few that do order the tublar headers kit would take up to much time to make. It wouldn't even be worth it, they can crank out the budget kit's.

I personally talked to John and James about this a couple of night ago, sad but it's for the best to part ways from Phamspeed. I know John will still carry on the Phamspeed name to a high standard and James will do well in his new venture!

I'm glad to hear that you are such a stand up guy. I may be going turbo in the future, and this thread makes my decision a lot easier. I'm glad to see that you put the customer first, and don't lie about expected wait times like "some un- named" companies do. Kudos, and good luck!!

I would like to get a custom hot side with no dp for a front mount t88 with the tubular headers. Will you be doing that kind of work in a month or two? Good luck to james in whatever new path he is going, and john keep the kits coming.

I wish you all the best of luck, and James, where ever you're off to, happy endevours. I'm sure you'll still be getting swamped with work, so that only means that you'll need to expand and grow and hopefully add product line too.
yes please i would LOVE to know if you will be going back to tubular manifold kits. I am honestly just waiting 3 weeks for school to get out before I ordered! I have no problem waiting longer for a manifold kit. I would <3 you forever if you kept making manifold kits! (can i bribe you perhaps?)

Good luck James.
As far as the budget kit goes..thats the right thing for mass sales to F-Body customers. I suspected when you offered the tube kit, even as such a GREAT price, it would be a while before orders came in (they needed to hit the street). As the value of F-Bodys fall to below 10k, its harder to toss in a high dollar turbo kit. The budget kit is truely for the masses. And nothing feels like a turbo. I wish you the best of luck..you have always done exactly what you said you would, despite all the doubter early on. Congrats.

Right now they are swamped with budget kits, so any "special" requests will have to wait till they are caught up and ready to take on more. Send them a PM for any specific requests, but you'll have to wait a bit. John will more than got out of his way to help any customer!

Good to hear/see this type of event. Too many folks these days make promises and take money instead of concentrating on customer support.
Kudos to you both, good luck on the future events!

I hope things work out for you guys. I have all but given up boosting my car, but I admit that I have been eyeballing your kit for some time. It looks pretty good.
