Top numbers for STS base turbo?

I called and spoke with Brady today at STS, his 02 LS1 put down 492 rwhp and 550 pounds of torque with the stock 60-1 that comes in the STS kit. Brady says his car is 100% stock so he's using methanol as fuel and as an intercooler at 8 PSI. He said his power was dropping above 5,000 RPMs because he was maxing out the turbo. Do these numbers seem correct?

I'm thinking about getting a GT67 turbo for my Fbody and am wondering if it's a big enough difference over the Ptrim 60-1 that I have now. I want to hit 500 RWHP at 8 PSI with my car. I have an 02 Z28.

yes, the 67 will take you into the 600's from what I have seen.

if you want more than 450 to the wheels it's time to step up.

thats why I went 67 from the get go.

I hit 475 rwhp with the base 60-1, but it does fall off pretty hard above 5k. I agree with Blackbird, if your goal is over 450 rwhp, it's probably best to get the 67 from the beginning.

I've got the 67 on the 5.3 in my truck and I made 400 to the wheels at 5psi and methanol. You should make 500 rwhp with the 67 and 8 psi on a 5.7 with no problem.
