I don't have an answer for that one. Good luck. I'm sure that someone on here has figured it out.

Maybe in worst case I can get any 2-bar MAP from ebay and just wire it and connect somewhere to the manifold, and that's all?

After overcoming my shock at the age of the original posting, I have decided that you sound sincere. I looked around and found this company: http://www.lsxtune.com/shop/
They claim to have international service.
Best of luck.

This is the sensor that plugs DIRECTLY INTO THE FACTORY HARNESS, no cutting or splicing needed

GM PN 12580698

New PN for the above sensor, seems GM updated the PN.

12615136

I'm only posting this for the newbs out there who still might not know what PN to order or ask for from the dealership.

Vetal, good luck with your search for someone to send you the sensor, shouldn't be too much trouble for a company to do.

If I select 05' Cobalt SS on rockauto.com, they don't offer the correct sensor, is that right?

As y2khawk said the numbers posted above are for a BARO sensor not the map sensor.

12580698 = 2bar BARO sensor for Cobalt SS (old number)
12615136 = 2bar BARO sensor for Cobalt SS (updated number) = $95 from the dealer
12614973 = MAP sensor for Cobalt SS = $45

The actual MAP sensor is said to have a different connector on it but it looks the same as the pictures above. It even includes a new grommet unlike the BARO sensor. So why can't we use this one? is it because it includes a temp sensor?

Need to know the answer to this too. I have a Cobalt Map sensor, can I use it on a 2 bar tune or just get the BAR sensor? Not worried about packaging or wiring.

12580698 = 2bar BARO sensor for Cobalt SS (old number)

I just installed this one on a Lingenfelter TT Vette a week ago. It's the one to get.

****** A, I can't make it anymore clear than this post guys:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/11692808-post27.html

I have a flippin pic of the damn sensor with the PN listed on it, and I also list BOTH of the PN's old and new SO YOU CAN ORDER/BUY the right one.

I also have the PN's listed in the turbo FAQ.

YOU NEED THIS SENSOR:
12580698 or THIS PN 12615136

THEY ARE BOTH THE SAME SENSOR WITH AN UPDATED PN (PART NUMBER)

Onfire, thanks buddy.

My question is not answered.

Can I use the Cobalt MAP sensor I ALREADY HAVE instead of buying another $50 sensor on a 2 bar SD tune?

Yes it was.
Does your sensor have either of the PN's listed above (hell, i'll type em out again 12580698 or 12615136) on it?

If not, NO.

Do not ask the dealer for the "MAP" sensor, they will give you the wrong one. Ask for the Baro sensor with the part numbers that frcfed gave.
