Painting a Phamspeed FMIC?

I've got a Phamspeed FMIC and I want to paint the thing before its installed on my car. What temperature should the paint be able to withstand? Do you think I should leave the FMIC unpainted?

Suggestions are appreciated!

I believe in leaving intercoolers natural. The painted surface might hinder the heat dissapation. Just my on .02 .

I agree with goneb4u, id leave it alone, the ones that you see are a special sort of paint, its realy think and more like a coating. I do not believe that taking a rattlecan to your intercooler would be a good idea.

Ya i am thinkin about doing the same thing BUt there is a special coating that they use to make it black from teh factory. It is a paint or coating of some sort that goes on SUPER thin so as to effect teh heat dissapitation as little as possible. I hope that i can find a way to get this coating on my intercooler. I want a sleeper. GL mate if ya end up finding something that is made for this send me a PM i wanna do it also. Thanks man
