Depends... Duke has gone faster, but its not exactly a factory block "C5R". I thought W2W had been 8.2's as well with the iron block, but I maybe wrong.

the LT1 still has a faster trap speed.....and while it may not be "quicker" than the LS1 cars, apparently it is "faster"(trap speed)

Yeah, faster trap indeed (more hp), but looks like the 60ft's have been softer. I believe Rick will remedy that soon enough....lol.

Its an awesome car, its getting shot for GM High Tech soon, its trully amazing how hard that car rolls. It's just bad *** to see one of the LT1 cars make it and play with the big boys. Ricks car is the ****, to bad he swapped front clips

Just to clarify, I read someone post that the motor has stock caps. Well that is not true, it has Pro Gram caps...

Also, we would never run a girdle. They are proven to do more bad than good.

We're taking the car to HRP tonight to try to run a 7. We'll keep everyone posted of the results, and I'm sure a video or 2

8.08 @ 172 w/ a 1.25 60'. More left in her, but we only made one pass because the weather SUCKED. Overcast, slight drizzling. Less than ideal conditions to say the least. But we know 7's are in the bag, too bad we didn't do it tonight, but hey, we'll get it done next time!
