Default WI installed... and it works!

As usual I prefer do things by myself, so also this "thing" is fully homemade.
And it works!

Now I need a little help for the tuning...
The blower only makes 6 PSI and has no intercooler.
The Vortech programmer sets the WOT timing @ 17* and a commanded AFR of about 10.8:1
On the dyno I went 21* and 10.5 AFR (the so called tuner told me it was OK...).

Any suggestion when spraying water-alcohol 50%-50%?
I have nozzles from 4 to 10 GPH, so plenty space to play

I'd first adjust the AFR injecting only water and keeping a low timing (on road WB tuning), then increase timing until KR, then switch to 50/50 water alcohol.

Just an idea... but maybe you have a better one!

Very nice looking setup! The AFR is probably a little rich, but your tuning method sounds all right to me. Log a few runs after switching to water-alcohol mix to make sure you don't pick up any KR. Do you plan on using the water/alcohol injection all the time? Will you be using a progressive system (more boost = more water) ?

I'd inject the mix at maybe 2-3 PSI: I have to see. (2PSI right now).
Right now it works on destilled water and the result is amazing: the IAT used to go from 85 to 175F in few seconds under boost at WOT, now it goes less than 80!!!
The system is not progressive: I think there's no need for this low boost level.
Shure now I could increase the boost but the engine is still stock. Same for the A4 and rear end. I didn't wanted more and I reached my goal.

Is it realistic an AF of 12.5 - 13 using a water-alcohol mix?
How is your engine set at yours 5/8 PSI?

Right now, I use the regular STS methanol system when I'm on 8 psi, and nothing on 5 psi. For the most part, the progressive controller just conserves the water/alcohol. 13 is a pretty high AFR for any forced induction application; 11.5 to 12 should be about tops.
