What heads are you using for TT??

What heads are you using for TT?? I had a chance to get a set of C5R heads with intake, rockers, lifters, and TB for 3500. I made my frist mistake by waiting 10 minutes to call the guy and he sold them 2 minutes before I called. :banghead:

I understand that you can just up the boost and but there is a point you can max out for pump gas and with a Darton block I don't want to go to high.
So far I like the TEA Stage 3 heads and there coming out with better flowing heads soon. Cost 3200
I should have got the C5R heads with intake but I waited to long. They would have saved me around 1K

C5R heads would be a tough choice for turbo...high boost like low compression, with such small cc chambers such as on C5R heads, your pistons would be dished like a dixie cup..,
Seriously, you probably want 6.0 heads or ls6 heads, or better yet, the AFR 225's.

Ronnie duke is using C5R head on his motor, but like jammer said, those heads have like 5cc combustion chambers, I was that post, that was a hell of a deal on the intake, heads , tb all that stuff, couldnt beat the price.

I paid $500 for a pair of heads that had like 13k on them from an 03' truck. I have seen them a lot cheaper but i helped take the heads off so i had a bit of assurance being there from the time they came off till they got to my storage unit.

There 13.5:1 CR so to make them work for TT I would have to change the setup, I think the ARF ported head will work perfect for me
