Question what else should i add? PLEASE HELP QUICKLY :)

is there anything else that i need to add to what i have already bought. like i mean little things that i might have missed before i get everything put onto my car on MAY 9th.

im not talking heads or cam or another tranny... but like little things that i may have over looked and can be picked up before then from speed inc. or another sponser on here. im only looking to acheive 500hp or so, and from i have been told i will not have a problem doing that at all. this is not a daily driver or a track car, just for weekend cruises and the occasional street race for fun.... nothing serious.

let me know if anything major sticks out in any of your minds at all. i just dont want to drive it and then have problems the first week or at all with supercharging it. it will be dyno tuned by sound performance of bloomingdale illinois (i thinkthey are a sponsor, if not very sorry about that, i will edit if not). they do excellent work and i just want everything to be as great as it can get with adding teh things that i bought to it.

this car is very important to me and i cherish every moment i spend in and out of it. i want this to be perfect as i can get it before adding any bigger things such as heads and a new tranny.

The Vortech kit comes with a T rex fuel pump and injectors. You'll need some drag radials to hook up the new found power.
Do you have an exhaust?

Your setup is similar to mine, you should make similar numbers. Good luck.

Get TR6's for plugs.

You should be good to go.

Now's the time to do a blower cam if you want.

You should probably allow some $$$ in your budget for a trans rebuild, I doubt the stocker is going to be up to handling the power that you will make for too long...

Do you plan on getting a blower cam? That could help out some.

the blower cam will come once i ge settled in florida in prolly november or so. as for the tranny, i thought of getting a rebuild later after this one goes out on me instead of just wasting a good tranny, mine as well use the crap out of it first, then get a new one.... will do on the TR6 plugs tho.

Oops, I missed the part where you said your weren't talking about heads, cam etc. Well, either way, it's good that you plan on getting one anyways.

Why are you wanting to go with a alumimum intake??? It will heat soak like a mother and it flows worse then the stock LS1 intake..... Buy the cheaper and better LS6 intake.....

I agree it will heat soak. 01's should have an ls6 intake already.

Two pieces of advice from my experiences. First mark the crank pulley. You'll want to see if it is moving. Mine spun and damaged the crank snout. It wasn't too bad so I used the ATI pin kit to hold it (I know this has happened to others too). Second. if you race be sure to see that the aftercooler water has cooled down sufficiently between runs. I hot lapped, detonated, and smoked my first motor.
