Default Plan ahead

I think I am going FI baby!! I want to run low 11's ATLEAST!!
What am I going to need to do so?
Here is what I already have on the list
1)ATI D1SC Procharger
2) 42lb injectors
3) 255 lph pump
4) Moser 12 bolt with 3.73 gears
5)guages
6)tune
7)spec stage 3 clutch
I am not sure on what suspension parts to get.
What would a good cam be?

All this will be done on a stock bottom end 99 TA WS6 M6.
I already have long tube headers and Full exhaust

LOW 11's.. What to do?

I would pay the price now and forge the bottom end. And instead of 42's Id get 60's. Suspension wise I went with QA1's all the way around V6 springs in the back,lca's, lca relocation brackets,TQ Arm,Spohn sway bar drag,adjustable panhard bar.SLP sunbframes and DS loop with a billingsleyracing custom 9' with 4.11's and a steel driveshaft out of a wrecked f body with the conversion from napa on the yokes. As for a cam I would get the FM 7 or 9. Im going with the FM9 I think.

My bill is 2199 from SDPC. 2460.42 TOTAL shipped. Thats with the taxes here in Texas. 4 week lead time. Diamond pistons and rings,callies rods and stock crank with all ARP holding it together. With the works done balance etc. KJ hooked it up

Yeah go with the 60 lbs Mototron injectors, and consider the Spec Stage 3+ or the Stage 4

Well unless your set on FI.You can run low 11's with a good heads and cam package.

you won't need a cam, with 6 speeds ya really gotta concentrate on the suspension setups, and run a slick or mickey thompson et drag radial.

What suspension parts should I get? Where from? Anyone sell suspension packages? I would like to be able to run low 11's on the street as well.

better to have to much injector than not enought.someone posted in 1 of my threads that with those injectors at WOT their duty cycle was already at like 87% so they'll burn out faster

I want to put in a cam to compliment the blower. What is a good cam? Should I upgrade the valvetrain?

if you do a cam you obviously have to do valvetrain.me and a few others are using the lingelfelter GT2-3 others are using the F7 cam i believe.the stock cam will work pretty well too.since your an M6 you better get hardened pushrods at the very least.

Supers/turbos are more streetable than a wild cam though right? You dont need as wild of a cam for the same HP and/or ETs.

That's why I want to go FI. I was planning on going with a sick heads cam setup, but I want to mantain gas mileage, and the street manners of the car.

you can make my kind of power easily, its just a bitch to launch m6's correctly at the strip.

at the minimum you'll need lower control arms, an adjustable torque arm and maybe a set of hal's along with mickey thompson or bfg drag radials.

Check ls1power's numbers, he is running the same cam I have, but he has a supercharger installed already, which I don't yet but I am still making decent power running it n/a. He's making about 550 rwhp on 8psi with the procharger.

If you want a more agressive cam go with the fm9, its a 232"/236" .585"/.600" 114LSA. I haven't seen any numbers on that cam na or charged.

I'd also recommend long tubes, didn't see them on your list, but that may be an obvious one.

Suspension wise, I can't tell you much but I'd recommend at least, subframe connectors (so you don't twist the quarter panel on hard launches) and a torque arm that doesnt attach to the transmission (so you don't break the tailshaft on the tranny).
