Cam help 5.3 truck w sts turbo 8psi

keep the stocker if you want to keep maximum off idle torque. If you are willing to give a little down low, try something in the 212 to 218 range. Mightymouse made 800+ with the stock 98 f-body cam.

Keep the duration in the area cablebandit suggested, maybe low 220's depending on the boost plans. LSA should be 114-118, again depending on the boost levels. Be careful of the cams with advance ground in for obvious reasons. Keep the lift sane and/or well below the 918 limits, no 1.85 ratio rockers either.

guess i'll just keep the stock cam (for now)
Since I just got the turbo, I guess I should just get the springs in and let Nelson re-tune it. I was just disappointed at the initial setup. The valve were "floating" and they had to severely detune it so I wouldnt trash the motor (5 deg timing). It's still stronger than stock, just not for the $$$ spent. Billy @ Texas Rear Turbos did an awesome job on the install. Highly recommended. He even dropped off the truck at my house (2 hours from his shop)!
