Finally got a ticket
He said he was looking for a Motorcycle when he heard the noise, and then he saw a flash of a car, spilled his coffee all over his pants, and off he went. He said his captain asked if he was just going to sit there. (That would have been nice)
He showed tremendous mercy, when he said if I write you up with what I clocked you at, it would be a misdermeanor, and would like to know if 1 - 9 over would be acceptable. What do you think I said.....
He came back and changed it to just driving faster than the posted speed limit.
I offered to replace his coffee, to no avail. I do know at one point I was over 100 in a 45 when I saw the speedo coming back down. The distance this all happened in is a little over 1/8th of a mile. I had to go back and measure it just to be sure. There were no other cars around, I guess except for his.
The posted Speed limit was 45, but for those not familar with this area, this was a big 4 lane highway, no cars, no driveways, very open area with excellent visibility. I told him I just wanted to hear the new exhaust.
Just thought I would share.

You can outrun the motorola provided that you know enough backroads and can get the car home and in the garage before smokey sees ya.
When all of this was oringally installed the bung installed in the tank was too high not allowing me below 1/4 tank, I am picky that way, sorry.
Thought I would try the Billingsly Racing Tank, This was not a good idea, the factory sending unit did not work with this tank and fitment in my car was not good, and bye-bye to the exhaust, This is advertised as a stock replacement. Construction quality was top notch, it just did not fit in my car as advertised. Anyway.
Took that back out, made another modification to the stock tank and is is back in the car, and the new dynomax "custom" exhaust is on the car. So basically if the pipes were straight I could see right into the engine.
Now that all of that is out of the way, I can get back to the dyno. Cats are empty again, Rockingham is now open, and I am hoping to go in the next week or so, I want a couple more runs on the dyno first for extra measure. I will post the times as soon as I get to The ROCK.
I am going to try and make different runs on different tires, I have a set of KDW-2's, Nitto 555's, and Hoosier slicks, but they are not full slicks, they fit a 275/45/17 wheel. I do not believe I am ready to run full slicks, but I am getting there.
One thing is for certain, all runs will be made on 93 Oct Pump gas only!!!!!
I will let everyone know.
Thanks
Bryan

anyways put some slicks on it and run it!
17" slicks are not going to hook at your power level with a stick. Danimal at Speed Inc. smoked his for over half the track.
