ASAP belt change help!

have a p1sc on an a4 car. Have to put a new s/c belt on. I put it over the tranny cooler lines, do I have to take off the head unit also? I can't get the belt over the standoffs!

I had to take the head unit (d1sc) off my car to change the belt

yes you do head unit must come off, for either its belt to be replaced or the engines belt as well, just had to replace my engine belt the other day. No way around it due to standoff inside of the belts.

I have to remove the head unit and the tranny cooler lines (where they go into the radiator and rubber hose behind the radiator) to replace my belt. It sucks.
