Default Pre-Tune Video

Turbo setup is done and I got a chance to drive the car a little more. Brian shot some video as I drove down the beltway. Sorry, no racing yet. We still haven't finished the tune so anytime I try to get on it, the car goes really lean.

Sweet, Zangel is this a log style stainless works header setup?? I did not want that kit on my car because of the back pressure it has. They do still make good power.

Brian (Brains) is doing all the tuning. Megasquirt will be used for fuel and LS1Edit for everything else.

Yes, it is the log style. As far as the flow, we will have to see how it does. If it doesn't meet our goals, we will changing to something else.

Its getting there, slowly but surely. DEFINITELY can't be doing much beating on the car under boost right now, the front end was treated to new tubular A arms -- and hasn't been aligned yet That is getting done tomorrow, which means we can get started on the real tuning work.

Congrats on the almost finished project. Looks/sounds good. I can't wait for my single setup. Be sure to post another video after the tune!

Very Nice!! What RPM do you start to make boost? It sounded like it wanted to come in pretty soon. Once again Very Nice!!

Boost starts to come in FAST at roughly 2500 RPM, even at part throttle I guess that's the benefit of the ball bearing option, but I'm sure having 370 cubic inches blowing into a .96 A/R Q-trim turbine helps speed things up too... We'll see how much it chokes off on the top end, but for now there's really no perception of turbo lag.. By the time you've hit the stall speed of the converter, its building boost.

Would you happen to know about how many rpm's the lag would raise with a standard turbo and not a bb?
