Turbo running with out being complete???
Ricky
If I had the choice, I would recomend just blocking off the cold side from exhausting any air.
Make sense?
Leave the airfilter on the front of the turbo, and block off the exit of the turbo that would go towards the intercooler, or intake.

The air would go nowhere. What you are causing is a restriction, in turn slowing the turbine down. There would be some "barking" of the turbo, but some bark would be way better than severe overspeed.
I would atleast made a huge restriction in the exhaust side of the intake to slow the turbine down.
I have a '98.4 Dodge 2500 Diesel, and a '98.5 Dodge 3500 Diesel. Both twin turbo'd, both over 500RWHP.
Although I'm not too familiar with gas motors yet, I am extremely familiar with forced induction.
What did you end up doing?

P.S. I'll get some pics later today.
