Spooling Faster?
Less backpressure the better should help..try a cutout.
Also proven things..nitrous for sure.
You can put in a lighter flywheel like fidanza.
You can up your motor with a stroker. Bigger cubes the better and more compression does spool faster but then you can't run as much boost usually.
And BB do spin a bit faster and stay spooled between shifts better.
And of course the oldest trick is to simply downshift if possible.
Now not sure how much effect changing gears will have. Would think 3.73 would be about perfect but not 100% sure on that one. Thought someone said going to gears like 2.73 was actually better .

Was curious on the way home a little bit ago, so I decided to "test" something. Cruising ~60MPH ~2000RPM in 4th gear with the 'verter locked up. I edged onto the throttle to see if it'd spool. Sure 'nuff, it took a second but it started making boost at 2 grand
