Default FINAL DYNO #'s W2W 408

Finally solved my problem that some of you read and even offered suggestions on.

The car was "breaking" up around 5K....after a month of chasing, the gremlin ended up being a Crank Position Sensor. Anyway I'm glad it's fixed as you will see below.

Made several pulls (No dyno tricks) and the car ran like a champ with no problems at all Here's the results....

D1SC Procharger @ 14PSI
626 RWHP / 625 RWTQ

http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...21_11_full.jpg

D1SC Procharger @ 14PSI + Nitrous (Dry Shot before the I/C's)
704 RWHP / 702 RWTQ

http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...21_12_full.jpg

I'm very happy considering this was in full street/show trim (minus AC...I have T-Tops ). I'm still using the ATI Twin I/Cs, the cam is relatively small for this motor 228/230-581/592, and I still have my 5.7 heads with slightly larger valves.

Thanks again to Kurt, Billy and the rest of the W2W team for a great shortblock.

Add one more badass F-body to the Ohio list ...the rest of the states need to get on it!

Mark

Nice numbers, how much nitrous?

Was the crank position sensor messed up, or the wiring? Sometimes the wiring get burned because it runs down by the #4 and #6 header primaries.

Wow! Congrats on breaking the 600 & 700 rwhp levels. Your going to have to get a new hood decal now (whats that convert to fwhp?).

I switched the dry shot around as stated so there is really know telling....I wanted to cool the intake temps as well as make the ATI twin I/C's more efficient. Most of that concept worked. I could have poured more Nitrous to her (A/F looked good) but I'm tired of working on the damn thing! I'm driving it now....unless it breaks something at the track (gotta at least make a pass). I granny the 60' and look for MPH.

It was only the switch, wires were fine.

Maybe someone here can help me out with that Tom. I believe with my M6 and 10 bolt it's about a 15% parasitic loss. That would put it around 720fwhp on the SC and 810fwhp on SC/NOS.

While we are on that subject....anyone know if flywheel torque has the same loss?

NICE Mark Glad you tracked down the problem and have it running like a champ, get it to a track and let loose.

Good job Mark. Now get it out to the track and drive it like you stole it!

Not bad for a "show car" Darn, I thought it was the cam sensor. Wrong sensor I guess Glad you got it figured out though.

J, if I take to track and "let loose" or

Kurt, if I "drive it like I stole it"

I'll be back in the garage working on the drivetrain, 10 bolt specifically .

I beefed it up as far as I can: Moser Axles, Auburn Racing Carrier, TA Aluminum Cover with Bearing Preloads, and a GM Superior 3.42......I just don't think it would hold up to much of a "launch".

It's going to the track though....I'll leave at idle and see what the ole "show" car will do. That's why 2001WS6VERT and I are partners on a race car. To satisfy our urges and build it to beat on it from the ground up!

If I could get into the high 10's with the 10 bolt and a decent MPH I would be .

I just want to run her once or twice...as Reckless said..it's really a show car.
