Default Vid from the track today..

Still running out of fuel up top, going to fix that next week

DA was ~3700' so I missed the 'good weather window' around here - have to wait until september-october now to get some good air Plus anyone around here knows this track is not the most generous as far as ETs/mph go, about the same as Bristol..

I set the rev limiter at 6300 to keep myself from winding it up and leaning it out to much, ran a best of 7.02 @ 100 with a 1.660 60' after taking a bunch of timing out down low, putting the tires at 9psi abd not getting up high on the converter so it would sorta hook. Time for some real tires and a few more PSI (showing 9-10psi today) when I get the fuel system working right. Sorry its not the full run, my wife's first time driving the camera and she kinda cut them short, first was a 7.08 and the one after is a 7.02, sounds cool with the cutout open if anything

Car looks good, but traction there aint that good my sis lives about 20 miles from that track. I`ll bet you had the fastest street car there .

kp- Nice setup/run. Car hooks good considering the claims of the "bad" track. Sounds good too with the cutout. Good luck with the setup.

Its starts spinning pretty bad about 30' out, traction wasnt too horrible but if I put the normal amount of timing down low and stalled up the converter it would just blow the tires off the line. Its 'import' day today so the track goes away pretty quick but it wasnt too bad considering.

How much timing were you running low and when did you bring it up? Thats a very good idea for aiding traction on your short time.

I usually have it from 26-28 up to ~4400, I dropped it to 20-22. It helped but not getting up on the converter hard helped as well. I am just on the 4" pulley now so when I go to the 3.7 its goig to be real tough to hook it up with a couple more psi down low. Et drags are next

I've run at Maynardville...it and 411 are about the same as Bristol. Congrats on the shakedown runs! With some hook you're easily in the low tens.

Not at Bristol, but if I dragged this thing to steele it would be mid-low 10s right now in 60 degree weather 411 is a pretty slow track, knoxville (maynardville) is a little better - its the altitude and humidity here. I run a little bit better at 411 then at Bristol usually but Bristol will outhook it. I havent even had this thing to a dyno yet so I have no idea what kind of power its making but it has the mph to be running 6.80-90's here with a good 60'

One step at a time Jer, once I get the fuel I can up the boost - I'm not at 10000000 feet elevation like you are

There are 11.5x28x15 ET strets on the car now, I just assumed they would be ~10.5 inches wide like the 11.5x26 ET streets but they arent. They are narrower then the 10.5x27 ET streets - crazy M/T sizing. I'll probably go with the old 10.5x28 ET drags but I am thinking of trying the new M/T drag radials since I do like to drive it and dont feel like spending 800.00 for an extra pair of rear wheels, too many tires out there now..

Im thinking the same thing.... since its summer now and i really wont be going that far on skinnies im going to go with either the 275/50/15's or the 275/60 M/T ET Street Radials... i heard they hook better then the original ET Streets...... then keep the stockers for the stocker/sleeper look and winter driving....... then maybe later strret rims again...
What all ya got planed to help with the fuel problem??

I'm going to go with the V6 fuel lines with the return, put a compact aeromotive regulator up front and use speed inc rails. I am not that far from my HP goals right now, just need to get the 60' better and wait for the cooler weather. I would like to up the boost a couple PSI though and get solid 10s in the hotter weather. I could get away with it now the way the fuel system is bit when it gets cool its going to need more so may as well do it. if that doesnt work (the lines are only 50.00 and go right on) I'll run a dual in tank 255 and -8 up front.

I may try to get a set of the 325 drag radials on there, I KNOW the ET drags will hook though. I'll burn these down first though
