Default Shakedown dyno run... STS 14psi

Original thread: in the truck section

14psi, meth, FMIC, 93 octane, 18* - 15.5* peak torque - 16* at shift

594awhp, 693 awtq

This was on a mustang awd dyno.

Couple of questions:

I heated the manifolds to cherry red... and set a plug wire on fire. Is it time for headers? How much will a set of shorties mess with my spool?

I wasn't watching the boost gauge, but my megasquirt logs show I hit 219kpa at the start of the run, but that by 4200-4400rpm the MAP had slid down to 192kpa (where it stayed nice and flat till the end). Am I past the capabilities of the GT70?

Wow nice numbers, I agree with PurEvl. Mine glow red also, but I still see no real need for headers, but it could be worth a try. I have my wires tied back and heat shield boots over the plugs. You might want to check your EGTs. I run an EGT and it helps tell alot about how its running.
