Quick turbo tuning question..Fuel pressure..

Default Quick turbo tuning question..Fuel pressure..

I've noticed my fuel pressure is low now that I have a Turbo on instead of a s/c. With the s/c my FP would sit at ~55-56psi with the vac line on. With the turbo it sits at ~50-52psi....is this due to the turbo making no boost at idle as to the s/c making something all the time? I'm about to start tuning her, and wanted to know if I should just bump the FP up some on the ol Aeromotive ADJ FPR?

So what's it read at WOT, or near to it? Is it an equal drop in pressure when you hit the throttle? Or is it just low at idle?

No no no, no tune in it yet. I'll start street tuning it tomorrow through Friday. This was just and observation at idle. I not "eager" enough to go WOT with my ol S/C tune WOT won't happen till I'm comfortable with my PT tuning first.
I was just figuring with the turbo putting no load on the engine, that might be the reason for the low FP compared to the s/c at idle....other than that nothing has really changed.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I see. Well just watch it as you are tuning, but if you are doing your own tuning I shouldn't have to tell you that.

There should be no change in fp.. SC will not make boost on idle as the throttle is closed.
There will be vacuum in the inlet manifold which is where you take you FPR signal, line from.

Looks like I have a leaky fuel line in my tank then I'll be opening that up tomorrow, this has happened before....that line is probably mush after sitting for 2+months in fuel.
